I recently purchased some Delta 3200 to try it out and see how I like it. Domenique found me on Instagram and wanted to work with me on some photos so we got together and did a mini shoot. I shot the Delta at iso 1000 after getting some tips from other photographers. I used my Nikon f100 and 50mm 1.4 D lens. Developed at Panda Photo Lab in Seattle. Its also the first time I got to use my new Sekonic L358 light meter. In the past I have just been guessing my exposures which mostly works but I wanted the added reassurance. This film is very grainy and low contrast but I like that it is unique. I found I preferred the shots we did in my room where the background wall was darker. So here are the shots 🙂 Feel free to comment, ask questions or give advice !
The shot on the right (above) is from a different photo outing, it was kodak ultra max converted to bw in lightroom. I just like the way the tree mimics her shape here.
This one above is grainier than I would like but it is what it is !
We used my wedding veil to play with, it just adds some visual interest and I wanted to see how this film might look for a bridal portrait 🙂
My next post will be from this same shoot but I will be showing a completely different BW film
